Horn Hospice certified four new volunteers through Hospice Training bringing the total number for this outreach program to 17. These volunteers serve patients and their families in various ways from running errands to providing respite for family members. Hospice volunteers are a great support for the patient and the patient's family.

"Each of our volunteers is a unique individual with gifts to offer our patients that no one else possesses; they are a treasure to our Hospice program," states Zanet Thies, Hospice Volunteer Trainer. "We are truly blessed to have such a great group of volunteers, and our patients reap the benefits from these compassionate individuals!"
